CAROL HARRISON - WORKSHOP PRESENTER

TELL THE STORY - TURN THE PAGE

Not all family stories and memories are warm and fuzzy. There can be skeletons in the closet and hard times we stuff inside an old chest will pop out at the most inconvenient times. In this workshop we will look at what to do with the messes of life.

Carol Harrison, B.Ed is a storyteller, published author and speaker. She enjoys hearing the stories of past generations but also realizes that it is important to preserve her own stories for future generations. Yet not all events are warm and fuzzy. Talking about the tough stuff in our lives is difficult but necessary for healing to begin. She believes that by giving God the mess, he will turn it into a message of hope. She has been put to the test by sharing things she preferred to never talk about.

She realizes that the tough stuff is part of the story that needs to be told.
